It was an Ooey Gooey Night

By | Blog | No Comments

It was indeed an emotional night for us at myBurgerLab as it was the last session of our pop up restaurant in the Red Beanbag (our good pal’s place). To end it with a bang, our new creation Ooey Gooey Stack was rolled out that night. Portabella mushroom for the win!!
[Sorry Khai Sim (our biggest fan) that you had to miss out on that]

We had yet another full house, with many new faces came to indulge in our burgers. This time, we were excited to host Kheong and family (owner of the Red Beanbag) and seeing them nom nom every single bite of our burger was a great moment. Their advice and feedback has guided us a lot throughout our journey.

A food writer from LifestyleAsia came and tried our burgers as well. *Had to make a good impression for a burger lover*. The feedback was pretty positive. Thanks Alexandra! We also hosted Christopher Tock and his friends as well as Kelly Siew and Louise Xin (thanks for making it to our last session :D)

There were indeed many request for our charcoal buns after seeing photos of our previous session being posted up on our Fan Page. Every single one of them who tried it loved it.

There were indeed some misses on the chicken but fortunately the Portabella infusion got the rave for that night.

We are really honoured to be featured on

Lastly, we would to extend our biggest thanks to Kheong and family for allowing us to run our pop up restaurant in the Red Beanbag (they serve awesome breakfast and coffee). We couldn’t have done all these sessions if it weren’t for their kind gesture. Also, not forgetting our fans for giving us all the valuable feedback on our product and concept which has help us improved a lot. And also our great friends who came and helped us out, especially Lih Ren (our lifesaver).

It was an end to a milestone, an exciting first part of the journey and now it’s time to move to the next, with putting the public as our priority – serving simply juicy burgers (the way it should be). It will be a very hectic 2 months nontheless, so please stay tuned to find out our progress. If you have yet to be our fan – join us here!

A Night of Black and White

No, it wasn’t the dress code. It was the first time where we rolled out our bamboo charcoal buns and our usual white fluffy buns. 2 trays of each were made, with one special customer gotten the special Ying and Yang bun 🙂

It was indeed a busy night. Full house to the max and it was so great to see people’s face lit up upon the first bite. Someone even mentioned that it was addictive and some had to try hard to refrain themselves from the sinful second round (while a few had to have seconds!).

It seriously by far the best BURGER i’ve had man!!! Compliments to you guys!!! 😀 Rmb to invite me for the next round!! Haha… bro addicted d..

We rolled out a new product at the lab that night, the Spiced Hawaiian Chicken Schnitzel with a big grilled Pineapple ring in it and the responses seemed to be pretty good.

It was indeed a long day for the back of the house staffs but the satisfactory feeling after the night was really overwhelming for us as everyone did a really fine job. Credits to Lih Ren and Sawa Ko for lending us a hand as well. And also a shoutout to Khai Sim for being the most loyal myBurgerLab fan so far.
