Renyi Recommends: Best Burgers in Klang Valley 2024 (March)

Step into the ultimate burger adventure in Kuala Lumpur! This March, join us as we embark on a tantalizing journey featuring two delectable creations from myBurgerLab, accompanied by two other burger options we love in KL that promise to captivate your taste buds.

MYBURGERLAB: Beautiful Mess (RM25.90)

The Beautiful Mess Burger

Allow me to introduce a timeless classic, the Beautiful Mess Burger. A staple on our menu since Day 1, this burger has earned its place as a crowd favorite. Its simplicity is its charm, offering a perfect balance of familiar and intriguing flavors.

The Beautiful Mess features a perfectly cooked Angus patty, seasoned with our secret Beef Salt for an extra layer of flavor. Topped with a sunny side up egg resting gracefully atop three crispy Portabella slices and drizzled with Honey Mustard, it’s reminiscent of a breakfast burger. And don’t forget about the cheese crisp accompanying the beef – it’s a burst of umami goodness with every bite.

MYBURGERLAB: Ayam Kau Hijau (RM19.90)

The Ayam Kau Hijau Burger

Next, I would like to introduce the Ayam Kau Hijau Burger, a standout among our chicken burger selections. This delectable creation showcases a crispy Fried Chicken thigh infused with authentic Thai-style herbs, delivering a burst of bold flavors. Complementing this culinary delight is our Signature Green Salsa, offering a delightful blend of sweetness and mild spice. To add a refreshing twist, we’ve included a contrasting Tangy Mayo with a hint of citrus, ensuring a truly appetizing experience. Topping it all off is a perfectly cooked Sunny Side Up Egg, taking this burger to new heights and leaving you feeling fully satisfied after every bite.

RENYI’S MARCH TOP PICKS

When I’m not savoring burgers at myBurgerLab, you’ll find me on the hunt for some of the delectable burgers across KL. Here are my top personal recommendations for the month of March if you’re seeking out some of the great burgers in KL/Selangor to be had.

Mean Mince (Muslim-Owned)

This place is a hidden gem in Mutiara Damansara. They are known for a few good things but today I want to recommend their Deep-Fried burger and The Motz.

The Motz:

The Motz Burger pays homage to the renowned smashed burger aficionado, George Motz, aka @motzburger! It features a single or double smashed beef patty topped with fresh grilled onions and a simple slice of cheese, it’s a no-frills, all-flavor delight. It doesn’t get simpler than this. One of the better smash burgers around town.

Deep-Fried burger:

This beast is not for the faint hearted. It boasts of a 125g grilled Mean Mince patty, topped with caramelized onions. and filled with a healthy helping of melty American Mozzarella cheese, all snugly wrapped in special bread dough and then deep fried. Indulging in this beast might feel like a heart-stopping experience, but hey, YOLO mate.

Disclaimer:
While these are my recommendations, do take note that your enjoyment of these burgers during your visit depends on said establishment’s consistency, your palate preference on that day and of course overall service experience. Don’t come knocking on my door if you had a less than savory visit 😇

Ren Yi Chin, a mechanical engineering graduate, embarked on a journey into the world of F&B during his university days. Falling in love with all it had to offer, he harbored a dream of creating a place where people could come together, create memories and bond over good food and unforgettable experiences. From this dream, my Burger Lab was born in 2012. Over a decade later, Ren Yi continues to lead the my Burger Lab team, developing new recipes, experimenting with unique marketing techniques and creating happiness between fluffy bamboo charcoal buns.
